How Does Orillia Junk Determine the Cost of Each Item?
We price based on the amount of space your items take up, measured in cubic feet. A cubic foot is about the size of a basketball or a box that's 1 foot wide, 1 foot deep, and 1 foot tall. For the first 100 cubic feet (roughly the size of a small bedroom closet), the cost is $1.85 per cubic foot. After that, it’s $1.66 per cubic foot. Since our operations are based in Barrie, we’ve introduced a small, flat $20 distance fee for all pickups in Orillia. Our minimum junk pickup fee for Orillia is $98.

What areas will Barrie Junk pickup from?As our name suggests, we operate out of Barrie. However, we also provide pickups in some surrounding areas. For locations outside the Barrie limits, there is an additional cost per kilometer, which will be included in your free quote.

How quickly can my junk be removed?We can typically remove your junk within 24 hours and, in some cases, even within the hour if we’re already working nearby!

Do I need to be onsite for the pickup of my junk?No, you don't need to be present. We provide outdoor pickups. By leaving your items outside, we minimize the risk of damage to your property. Please ensure your items are placed in an easily accessible location, such as your driveway, porch, or any accessible exterior area. Our automated system will send you a notification and process your payment once the pickup is complete.

What items does Barrie Junk not accept?We remove almost anything, including furniture, appliances, boxes, yard waste, and renovation debris. However, we are not insured to handle hazardous materials, such as chemicals, solvents, oils, asbestos, oil drums, or waste storage tanks.

Our fees cover the cost of our removal experts who come to your location, load items into our trucks, transport them to donation centers, recycling facilities, or the Barrie dump, and disposal fees. You'll receive an exact quote before we remove your items—no hidden fees!
